Maya Road Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Greetings, everyone! Today we're hopping along with some of the designers at Maya Road for a fun and inspirational journey. If you haven't hopped here from Stacy Koo's blog please start out at the Maya Road Design Team blog to see the complete list!

Spring is nearrrrrrrly here and I am totally ready to bring out the fun spring decor. I don't typically design cutesy crafts but if you can't make fluffy little chicks in the spring when can you!?

I created the body of the chick with a Jumbo Bottle Cap and many layers of Saffron Satin Scallop Edge Trim. I cut the chipboard wings in half, painted and glazed them, and adhered them to the sides of the chick.

The feet and beak are painted and glazed pieces from the Mini Chipboard Heart Confetti Set. I added button eyes.

I added a pink felt flower for color and sweetness! I also made it hang-able with a loop of Preppy Stripe Trim.

Thanks for visiting today... please continue hopping with us to Jocelyn Olson's blog

And of course there's a giveaway! Comment to win a Sweet Nothings Card Kit from Maya Road.

Winner for the giveaway will be chosen randomly from all the comments on all the blogs in the hop. You have until 9am EST Tuesday, March 8th to leave comments. Winner will be announced on the Maya Road Design Team Blog Thursday, March 10th. Please leave only one comment per blog.
