Smart Cookie Teacher Gifts

Oh, shocker!  I am late posting these.  ::sigh::  One of these days I will actually manage to post time/holiday sensitive things on time!  Until then feel free to file this under ideas for next year.

Cookie-Bags

I whipped these goodies up for the Curtsey Boutique using there kraft bags, doilies, seam binding, twine, and chalkboard tags.

Each bag is filled with a glassine bag containing chocolate chip cookies!  And the front reads “Thanks to you I am one smart cookie”… so simple and inexpensive but CUTE!

You can see my step by step tutorial on the Curtsey Boutique blog.

Fun in the Sun

Last week I was up at Fancy Pants Designs to show off some fun with Wonderful Day.

Summer Love

Hi everyone!  Summer is in full swing now, with 90+ degree days so far all this week here.  Ugh!  But summertime does bring some pretty cute photos to scrap, so there’s that.

Today I’m up at Pink Paislee where we have been teaming up with Epiphany Crafts to show you their super fun punch tools that allow you to punch and add a shaped epoxy bubble on top in one step.  They are SO neat and easy to use!  And kind of addictive.

Masking with Mediums

Last week I shared a couple of cards on the Pink Paislee blog that made use of the She Art stencils.  I love these!  I want to use the doily ones on pretty much everything.

All week the team showed some fantastic ways to use the stencils but I focused on using a couple of different mediums: spray ink and gel medium. Check out Pink Paislee for more info and photos.

During the online crop there will be challenges hosted by a variety of scrapbookers including myself, Becky Fleck, Lisa Pace, Stephanie Howell, Cathy Zielske, Mary Ann Jenkins, Juliana Michaels, Julie Overby and more. There will also be some fantastic prizes being given away from our generous sponsors including: Bo Bunny, Jillibean Soup, Little Yellow Bicycle, The Paper Bakery Kit Club, Pink Paislee, Fancy Pants, Bella Blvd, SRM Stickers, May Arts, Echo Park and more!

There will be a challenge every hour, on the hour, from 8am EST - 6pm (or maybe later) plus challenges from some big names in the scrapbooking arena with a full week to complete the challenges you pick. You will have tons of chances to win some great prizes. Oh, and did I mention a drawing will be held for a big prize from the first fifty people to donate?

PaperHaus Summer

It’s time!  It’s finally time for a new issue of PaperHaus magazine!

PH Summer

The summer issue is all about mixed media and, let me tell you, the art inside is going to blow you away.  The colors, techniques, and layers are insane.  I don’t know how it’s possible for me to be surprised by just how fantastic each issue is but every release brings a new appreciation for my fellow contributors.

We’re celebrating this issue with a week of smaller blog hops.  As usual, you’ll see inspiration and have a chance to win prizes along the way.  Start at PaperHaus for the fun!

And come back in a few days my my turn on the hop and a giveaway right here at The Examined Life!
