And now for my favorites…

Pink Paislee saved the best for last, in my opinion.  I love these two collections for their versatility.  I can scrap BOY with these but they clearly have a lot more to them.

First, Indigo Bleu, which I adore but have not had a chance to play with yet:

And finally, Prairie Hill, which is SO fresh!!

I created this tag mini and the box to hold it with Prairie Hill:

LOVE!!  You can see both of these collections in their entirety on the Pink Paislee blog

Fancy Pants–Summer Soul

I know many of us are still dealing with the cold Winter weather here in the US.  What better time to be dreaming of Summer, then?  Enter: Fancy Pants Summer Soul line.  This is the girly surf collection that will have you scrapping all your Summer photos and I’ll be showing you the boy counterpart on Monday!

Feeling Sketchy

This month’s Right at Home Scrapbooking sketch is from Pagemaps and it’s a fun one!

My take on it uses the October Afternoon Farmhouse line, which I could NOT love more than I do.  It is one of my favorite lines on the market right now... such great colors and textures!

Have I mentioned how much I love this line??

Cheerio.. Pip Pip!

I am sure all my British friends are cringing right now… sorry about that!!

You are going to DIE when you see this awesomeness from Pink Paislee.  London Market is unlike any other collection out there and trust me, you NEED it.

Fancy Pants–Childish Things

Fancy Pants’ second release this week is Childish Things – a whimsical collection of bright, youthful patterns and icons of childhood.

I created this little card for the occasion!

It Feels Like a Spring Jubilee!

As I type this it is 54 degrees in Massachusetts.  Say WHAT!?  Yes, it totally feels like Spring today and it is mahhhhvelous!  It’s almost like Pink Paislee had a crystal ball (read: weather channel) and KNEW this would be the perfect day to debut their new Spring Jubilee line.

I know, right?!?

It’s so bright and pretty and Spring-y! And y’all know I am all about fussy cutting those little goodies up.

Here’s a page I did this week (yeah, I am spoiled and got to play with it early!):

That’s My Mama

I only have a handful of heritage photos and I use them sparingly.  The January Vinnie’s Vignette kit from Miss Art’s Papercrafting School was pretty much just begging for heritage photos and I couldn’t wait to cut up all those gorgeous roses and lace bits!

These are photos of my mom and her older sister when they were knee high to a grasshopper… so cute!

I inked the edges of a regular kitchen doily and used it as a background. I also inked a 12 x 12 Crafter’s Workshop stencil for the rosy background accents.  I gathered lengths of the lace  into half-round bunting type embellishments and used them to accent a couple areas.  And how much do we LOVE those wooden buttons?! I can’t get enough of them!

Check out the full kit at Miss Art’s!

Fancy Pants–Be You!

In case you missed the fantastic announcement last week… I am now a 2012 Fancy Pants Pocket Chick! Woo woo!

The past week I have been NUTS with CHA project preparation and eagerly anticipating Fancy Pants debuting this (and other!) fun collection.  Be You is bright, bold, and easily adaptable for either girls or boys.  Awesome!

My little guy page… (and my primary lens broke this week.  Can you believe my luck!?!)

I’m in the Mood for Love

Actually Paper Issues is… and I’m along for the ride!

Link up your Valentine inspiration over at Paper Issues from now until February 14th.  Or just borrow an idea (or twelve) from the other awesome love-themed projects you will no doubt be awed by.

By now you guys probably know that I… errr… don’t work too far ahead.  I haven’t even thought about what I am doing for Valentine’s Day yet!!  So here’s something from “the vaults” (wayyyyy deep in the vaults…) for you.  It’s a few years old but I still love the idea of using scrap supply packaging to make something new.  I used a small box from Petaloo flowers and covered it with My Mind’s Eye goodness:

Bonus: this little guy is the perfect size to hold a gift card!

Getting Caught up with Pubs

Hellllooooooo!

I *always* forget to reveal my published work after the appropriate time has past.  And that’s kind of a bummer, since it is often some of my favorite work!  So today I’m sharing just a few of the projects that have been picked up and published in the last few months.

Owen Turns Two!… a month ago…

Err… yeah.  Owen’s birthday is smack in between Thanksgiving and Christmas, making an already hectic time even more nuts.  I barely have time to breath during the holidays… so add us all getting The Plague and my camera deciding to not work correctly to the mix and it was the perfect storm.  Thus, birthday party photos nearly a month late.  Oops!
Mr. O had a sock monkey theme this time.  He loves monkeys in all forms and when I found a four foot tall sock monkey I HAD to get it… and the theme took on a life of its own!

My DIGI invites, thankyouverymuch:

Owen was decked out in full sock monkey regalia, courtesy of yours truly.  The hat (and socks!) were from Old Navy and I made his shirt.

A good time was had by all, especially my big birthday boy.  I can’t even believe he is already two!
